Second time I’ve visited. This time with children, really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely like to return.

Lovely rooms, staff were very polite and lovely, everywhere very clean. Food was great.

Service was slow around the family areas, adult only pool seemed to get a lot more special treatment than family pool.

A good stay for a weekend

Got upgraded to a ‘pool side’ room which was pretty great. Room was big and lots of space. Adults pool was a great place to chill for the day. Staff all very helpful.

Shame that the golf course/ landscape outside of the hotel is being refurbished as this was a bit of an eye sore. Location is a little bit far out but the hotel provided a shuttle for free which was easy to use.

amazing staff and food - solid stay for family.

Loved the food. Amazing menus every night and great staff (Miquel, Lani, Rueben, Nicolas). Loved the kids club - amazing people and staff (Bruno). Loved the pools and grounds. Truly great vibe and layout.

Onsite restaurant (RIA) was pushy to upsell not worth the money. House Keeping was not courteous and just bad at their jobs - we had some weird interactions.

Brilliant, spa facilities are exceptional, brilliant for the little ones also. All round fantastic

Room gets cleaned twice a day, all staff are friendly and helpful. Fantastic kids club for the little ones. Bouncy castle, ball pit, play park, plenty of stuff for them to do different activities every day. Spa is fantastic also.

There is nothing around, you have to take Uber to go to town, no heated pool

Great hotel with good links to the Marina and Golf courses. Staff very efficient and friendly.

Quality of the room, breakfast, Ria restaurant and the reception, restaurant and bar staff. Complimentary shuttle.

Spa was closed. Bit of a hassle on arrival with lock not working.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, very clean and luxurious rooms, with very attentive staff.

Everything!! The room was a great size, big comfy bed, good size bathroom, everything you needed in the room and very clean. Every part of the hotel was beautiful, great pool areas and outdoor spaces. The breakfast was wonderful, with everything you needed. The staff were all very attentive. We had the spa to ourselves which was a lovely bonus.

Very pleasant, would return for a short stays on bed and breakfast basis again.

Presentation of the hotel was excellent. Room spacious and facilities good. Pool area really nice and loungers very comfortable. Staff were great, very helpful and pleasant.We had bed and breakfast and the breakfast was good, in keeping with hotels of similar rating in the area.

Location is an issue. No shops within walking distance so need to either rely on the hotel for supplies or take transport down to the Marina. The food and drink in the hotel is expensive. The evening buffet meal is 65 euro for adults and 35 for children, so that would have been 165 for our family of 3, so we opted to take Uber down the Marina. Our 4 evening meals at the Marina were 70, 105, 65 and 60 euro for our group and we ate at the best restaurants so well worth the 5 euro for the Uber. We used the complimentary Tuk Tuk a couple of times and chatted to a couple on the trip who said the buffet meal was a shocker, they were half board and spoke of multiple families complaining about the food, so it looked like we chose the right option by not eating in house.

5 star stay. We highly recommend this hotel, SO glad we have another 7 nights to enjoy it all.

What’s not to like about The Anantara! Buffet breakfast with excellent choice of fruits, pastries, breads, pancakes, cereals and also hot food. Staff are friendly and extremely attentive. Half Board Buffet Dinner also delicious, with a huge selection to cater to every taste. Several other restaurants to choose from for a supplement. Room is absolutely gorgeous… spacious and furnished to an extremely high level. The attention to detail is amazing. Lovely en-suite bathroom, with a huge bath and a shower with rainfall head and also a hand held shower head. Separate wc with bidet. Walk in wardrobe, dressing room with safe and plenty of shelving, drawers and hanging space. Bathrobes, slippers and toiletries all provided, and replenished daily, plus a powerful hairdryer. Anantara has thought of everything. There is a Spa which we haven’t used as yet, but all the treatments sound fab.

Nothing! It was all excellent! Couldn’t fault anything. The Nespresso coffee machine wasn’t working, and was replaced within 5 minutes of me phoning reception. They really have thought of everything!!!

the hotel is very good for families, the breakfast is suberb. top facilities.

the hotel outdoor pools are divided betwen family and adults pool. and all of them are just amazing. my 16-year old that loves to swim, felt that he was too old for the kids pool (and I agreed), but then he was not allowed to enter the two swimming pools in the adults section (we requested to management, that he would go along with me to the adults pool). he complained the entire stay that he wanted to leave.... I loved the hotel, but until he turns 18, I won't be able to fully convince the entire family

Overall a great trip however definitely lack of staff to offer a top service

The rooms are very comfortable and a great set up for a family with children, interconnecting rooms with two bathrooms. The facilities were very nice, landscaping, well-kept, towels, available by the pool, free of charge water in the morning, are tasty, breakfast buffet with a little area for children to choose their own bits.

It felt as if the hotel was massively understaffed. On most occasions you had to ask for something twice, if not three times or go and get it yourself. we arrived for our check-in at 3 pm, and the room was not ready until 3:30 pm, housekeeping did not tidy our rooms most days, unless we find reception, asking for drinks by the pool took a long time. It is the service which really like this hotel down.
